The SECRET WAY to getting your soulmate …

And that is ‘SELF-CARE’ – that’s right you read correctly, let me explain why. . .

Self-care is looking after your mental health, emotional and physical health and is vital to us in order to have abundance in our lives.

When we look after ourselves, we are mentally in the right place to get into a relationship. If you lack in these areas there could be consequences when you DO try and meet someone, such as you may find yourself not getting into a relationship with the WRONG type of person, such as someone with who is toxic.

The 3 areas of your self-care you need to focus on are..

Physical health- if you don’t look after your physical health you won’t feel good within yourself and dependent on your health it may even restrict you from even being able to go out physically and meet someone (constantly have a cough?). And if you have poor physical health this also can affect your emotional and mental health.

However I want to mention, if you do have an illness that can’t be helped, that doesn’t mean it would prevent you from meeting someone or that they would use you or be bad in some way for you, but it IS crucial to meet someone who is happy and understanding of your ill health and can be supportive.

Emotional health – its important that we deal with in regards to overall health, that of our emotional health. If not looked after could lead us to develop physical or mental illnesses.

People who are emotional healthy are in control (most of the part) of their thoughts, behaviors and feelings. They understand their values and morals and are abundant for the most part of their lives. Emotionally health people do feel stress and anger but can manage these emotions effectively and logically and understand that these emotions are a part of life and know how to deal with them.

Mental health – our mental health is so important, you seeing more and more information withing the media about our mental health. Our mental health goes hand in hand with our emotional health and physical but also social well-being and psychological.

It’s important that we can deal with past trauma’s and manage negative emotions because if not our mental illness can get worse or we can develop mental illness. Our mental health controls how we think, act and feel and how we understand the world around us through our belief systems.

If we don’t look after our mental/ emotional health we may find it hard to accept that another person could love us ( he just settling with me), we could see them in a negative light ( he said he’s had a long day and so is snappy, but really he’s just a horrible person!)

Of course, if you do suffer from mental illness, that doesn’t mean you can’t get into a relationship with another, but its important you understand you illness and know how to manage it, for your own well being and that of others.

We may feel we are less deserving of our other half’s love, and possible not be able to deal with issues that arise within the relationship ( some confrontation is normal and healthy within an relationship) but it’s about being able to communicate how we feel or listen to how the other person is feeling effectively, communication is the core pillar for a long lasting relationship.

If we don’t deal with past trauma and old wounds, we may find ourselves with possible low self esteem and attract a partner who is toxic and could use your vulnerabilities as a way to control you and possibly make you feel worse.

I also want to point out that the flip side of I’m talking about , which would be very high self-esteem, could also have negative affects as science has proven those with high self esteem and worth are more likely to leave a relationship rather than deal with issues as there is a strong sense that ( my partner is showing themselves in a negative light I’m not happy, I haven’t done anything wrong and bolt from the relationship) so, it is important to be well grounded and equally balance din how you feel about yourself, don’t be one extreme or the other.

Its not vital for you to be 100% sorted in each of these three areas, everyone has issues and problems and meeting someone else can help you to get to know yourself better and help you to grow and develop in who you are and as a person, but if you love yourself and make sure you have dealt with issues that you may have as best as you can, than you can actually focus on the other person better and their needs, and know what you should be getting back for your needs as well as be in the correct thought process to attract the type you are looking for in the first place.

Now if you do practice Self- care and feel your ready to meet that special someone . . .what do you do next?

Law of attraction and getting that right person, and if you don’t believe please read on because what I’m about to say would be beneficial to you also.

The law of attraction is – you put out into the universe energies that you want to attract, and those energies will come to you. For example, you want to win some money, you put out to the universe that you HAVE won that money and Feel how it feels to have that money, what your doing with it etc.

Act as if you have is the key, if you want to know more on the law of attraction read ‘The secret’ by Rhonda Byrne

First things first, looking after yourself does put you in a high vibe energy that will attract others.

Next you want to Start creating a lover’s mind map (inspired by Bob Proctor who is an law of attraction expert and motivational speaker) – in the middle right dream man/ woman or woman/man etc. whatever you want

Around this draw lines from the bubble or love heart with everything you want in another person

A good starting point would be

- Happy

- Healthy

- Finically secure

- Morals

- Fairly confident

- Kind

- Emotionally supportive

- Independent

- Accepting

- Good listener

- Good communication skills

Then from those lines’ right lines from those sections into subsections of more details of what of these points you want

- Morals – maybe you want someone who isn’t racist, wants to protect the planet, cares for people

Once you have done all these things you will have a clear idea exactly what you want in a partner, don’t focus on physical aspects of another because this won’t help you to meet someone, it will take longer , by doing this you can think about exactly what you want about a person. How the law of attraction works is you will have a partner drawn to you that you are attracted to so don’t worry about that.

When you go about your day think what it be like to share a life with someone, have kids, how many kids do you want? Want to get married what sort of marriage you have? While your watching tv image you partner coming in with a cup of tea for you, how would that make you feel.

Start opening a savings account to invest in your future, write a bucket list of things you want to do in life but think about what it be like doing those things with a partner.

This is putting it out to the universe what you want and trust me, I know from personal experience it they will come to you.

Love and light soul coast
